EKM009 is a very small relay module with transistor driver, which mounts directly to a powerful SPDT relay. The module has a small transistor to drive the relay coil and LEDs for Power and Active.
A single board-mounted M3 threaded spacer is located in the center and can be used to attach the module to something or as a mounting point for a small enclosure.
Two versions are available, 5V and 12V. The difference in voltage only applies to the supply. The signal level for controlling the relay is the same for both and works with signals down to around 2V.
A short wire with open ends is included and connects to the JST connector on the module.
The relay contacts are available on the top of the relay and fits regular 6.3x0.8mm blade terminals (not included).

Connections
The supply and control connector is a standard 2.0mm JST-PH connector. The pinout is described on the board (+, IN, -). Supply voltage is either 5V or 12V depending on version. Signal level for the control pin works with voltages down to ~2V and up to the supply voltage.
Please observe that the three pins marked "NC", "NO" and "COM" are connected to the relay contacts and can carry dangerous voltages!! Do NOT touch when powered!
The top of the relay has the connectors for the relay contacts. Three connections are available, COM, NC and NO. When the relay is inactive, low or no signal, COM and NC are connected. When the relay is active, high signal, COM and NO are connected.
The connectors will fit regular 6.3x0.8mm blade terminals. Wires and connectors are not included.
